My Creative Space..."Does My Bum Look Big in This?"

It's Thursday, and once again I am playing along with Kirsty's My Creative Space. Today apart from the usual business creative hoo-hah I decided to take some time to make something creative for myself.

A new stallholder apron/money holder has been on the order list for a while, and today I decided it was time to make it happen. I had one, but it was a bit wide and a bit long and starting to get a bit faded, so it was time for version number 2.

This time I decided to use denim as a base, with a splash of one of my very favourite crafting fabrics, and oh yes you guessed it.......red featured stitching !

Mandatory was another flat money pocket wiht zip to carry all that 'Market Moulah'.

It actually looks better lying flat on the bench than it does on me.....

So what do you reckon.....does my bum look big in this? I've decided that it's just as well I can't see my own bum in my day to day life, then I don't have to worry about it!

  1. Since you asked I have to say a very loud "NO!". All looks good, including the fabric which is very pretty. Well done x

  2. Not at all :)

I love that market apron. I've been meaning to make one for myself as well, but have now added a kimono (a child's one, thrown over jeans/black pants), so it won't work... gotta find some other way of carrying that "market moulah" around..

  3. I love your little apron. I don't really have a reason to wear a cute little apron, but if I did I think one like that would be right up my alley.

  5. This is why our bums are on the back and not the front (apart from the fact it would be jolly uncomfortable to sit down).

Love your apron. Is the feature fabric an Amy Butler? Anyway, may your pocket be weighed down with moulah at your next market!

  6. What a brilliant creation! I'd definitely purchase one of these... bum-bags are no where near as fashionable as this creation!
